Bracken has been selected to speak with Steve Bent, Executive Director of TXANS (the Texas Association of Responsible Nonsubscribers), at the Fifth Annual Texas Workers’ Comp Forum on October 1, 2008. Mr. Bracken will address “Emerging Trends in the Texas Nonsubscriber System.” His presentation will provide an update on key legal issues impacting nonsubscribers in Texas, and cover strategies to ensure nonsubcriber employers can control the legal risks involved in opting out. Mr. Bracken is a Senior Counsel in our Labor & Employment section, and is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
