Laurel Arnold Clement to Speak to the Dallas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy

Laurel Arnold Clement has been invited to speak at the Ethics Seminar for the Dallas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy on February 6, 2009.  Associate Kathryn F. Samler will also be attending.  Mrs. Clement’s presentation, “Legal & Ethical Issues Dealing with Divorced Families and Stepfamilies,” will address therapists’ concerns about responding to subpoenas, testifying in court, record keeping, getting paid for such services and the different ethical standards for social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors.

Mrs. Clement is a Senior Counsel in our Family Law section, and she is licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
