Douglas C. Bracken Speaks at the First Annual Texas Employment Law & HR Forum

Douglas C. Bracken has been selected to speak at the First Annual Texas Employment Law & HR Forum on April 1, 2009 in Dallas.  The seminar, sponsored by the National Council on Education in Management, will span two days and provides continuing education for HR professionals.  In a three-hour workshop, Mr. Bracken and two experienced HR professionals will address "Finding Your Way Through the Confusing Leave and Disability Law Labyrinth:  FMLA, ADA and Workers' Comp."  The presentation will provide an update on key employee leave issues impacting employers, including specifically the recent significant changes to the FMLA and ADA.

Mr. Bracken is a Senior Counsel in our Labor & Employment section, and is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
