Q: Do both spouses need an attorney, or can one attorney represent the husband and the wife?

A: Both spouses do not need an attorney. However, an attorney may only represent one spouse.


Q: If we were never married, can we still have the court address issues relating to our children?

A: Yes. The court will still assist your children in developing a legal custody arrangement even if you were never married.
