Senior Counsel practicing in a full range of employment and labor law, including counseling clients on personnel policies and problems in order to prevent potential or resolve existing legal issues; representing clients in EEOC and other federal and state law administrative charges; litigating state and federal cases, including appeals; and representing clients in mediation and arbitration. Ms Singer represents employers in ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FMLA and other civil rights charges and lawsuits; OFCCP, FLSA, OSHA, WARN and other DOL-related compliance efforts and investigations; and unemployment and other claims under Texas and other state laws. Ms. Singer works with clients to develop and implement policies and procedures regarding all phases of the employment process, such as absences and leave, bonus and wage disputes, and individual terminations and mass layoffs. She also conducts managerial and staff training. Ms. Singer frequently advises companies and executives concerning employment contracts, non-compete clauses, and severance negotiations. Formerly, she was attorney at the Solicitor’s Office of the U.S. Department of Labor and partner in the Employment & Labor of Fullbright & Jaworski, L.L.P.
